Interact Coaching Terms

Agreement

Making a booking on our website, through our online booking system (Acuity) involves creating a legally binding contract, the “agreement”, between you and us. The parties to this agreement are: 

  1. the person who makes the booking and enters into the agreement referred to throughout the agreement as “you” or “your”, and 

  2. our company, INTERACT-HQ Ltd, whose registered address is C/O very ard times Tower 42, 25 Old Broad Street, London, England, EC2N 1HQ and registered number is 12792343. INTERACT-HQ Ltd is referred to in this agreement as “INTERACT”, ‘the company”, “we” and “us”.

We provide our 1:1 and coaching services to you subject to this agreement, so as always with a binding contract, you should read through it carefully before booking and appointment. We may make changes to the terms and conditions of this agreement, but the latest version will always appear on this page. If you continue to use our 1:1 or coaching services after changes have been made, you will be considered to have accepted the changes to the agreement between us.

Definition

“Service” means any type of 1:1 online coaching session including acting, pre-audition, self-tape, and show-reel coaching. 



Coaching (services) bookings

When you book a coaching service through the booking system on our website, your appointment will not be confirmed until we send you confirmation, even if you have transferred money to us. You agree to pay all monies in the transaction immediately when you make a booking, regardless of whether you attend the appointment or not. We do reserve the right to refuse bookings for any lawful reason, although we don’t expect to have to do this very often.

The price for each service is shown on the website and must be paid in full, together with any booking fees, and in the currency stated, by debit or credit card at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to book the appropriate event, date, and time slot. 

Only after successful completion of all payment processes are you able to participate in any of our services. We will email confirmation, to the email address provided when you made your purchase, within 24 hours of booking. Please check spam and junk folders, and if not received within 24 hours, please contact us at support@interact-hq.com. It is your responsibility to ensure that your email is set up to allow you to receive booking confirmation(s), and we cannot accept any liability for any consequences of your not doing so. 

Restriction to coaching services

We reserve the right to refuse coaching services, for any reason and at any time. If we do so, you will be refunded.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that appear to be placed by:

  1. Drama teachers

  2. Acting coaches

  3. Trainers / Instructors

At our discretion, we may make a change to or cancel an order and consequently we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or phone number provided at the time the order was made.

Booking a coaching session

If you book and pay for a 1:1 coaching appointment, you will be issued with log-on details with your booking confirmation. These log-on details will include which platform the appointment will be hosted by (usually Zoom), sign-in and password details. Please ensure you test the online-line platform in good time as the appointment will start on time, and we will not go beyond the scheduled completion time - therefore the time is deduced from your booked minutes.

Cancelling a coaching session

In our industry things move fast, and auditions or jobs can be changeable - so we want to be flexible, whilst honouring the time and income of our team. So the following cancellation terms apply:

Acting coaching (singe and multi-session) and MINDSET Coaching

  • We encourage changing your session date and/or time before cancelling - we never want you to lose the benefit of your coaching session. In the instance that you do want to cancel, please give us at least 48 hours notice prior to the sessions’ start time to receive a full refund. All of our coaches are self-employed and protecting their time and income is really important to us, having as much notice from you as possible if you wish to cancel enables us to try to fill that slot. You can cancel your coaching session directly through our booking system (Acuity), however please note that it will not allow you to cancel your session within 48 hours of your session start time.

  • Things often come up last minute in our industry, so if you can’t make the session no need to worry - give us as much notice as possible up to 3 hrs before your session by contacting us at support@interact-hq.com and we will reschedule within 14 days of the original booking. 

Pre-audition coaching: In order for us to be able to offer this service, which is to be available to offer immediate support to you, the following terms apply: 

  • Where a pre-audition coaching session falls within less than 48 hours of payment you waive your right to a refund. 

  • You can reschedule up to 3 hrs before your pre-audition coaching session and the rescheduled session must take place within14 days of the original booking. Contact us at support@interact-hq.com to make the change.

Self-tape coaching: In order for us to be able to offer this service, which is to be available to offer immediate support to you, the following terms apply: 

  • Where a self-tape coaching session falls within less than 48 hours of payment you waive your right to a refund. 

  • You can reschedule up to 3 hrs before your self-tape coaching session and the rescheduled session must take place within14 days of the original booking. Contact us at support@interact-hq.com to make the change.

If we need to cancel a scheduled coaching session for any reason, we may do so at any time before it is scheduled to begin. We do not expect this to happen except in exceptional circumstances, and of course we’ll refund you in full, or offer you a choice of alternative date or event. We won’t be able to compensate you for any other expenses you’ve incurred in connection with the event.

We will always endeavour to notify you of cancellations with more than 24 hours notice, but we can’t guarantee this, especially when a session needs to be cancelled at short notice. Keeping your details updated through the booking system on our website will give us a better chance of reaching you in time.

Concessions

We offer 10% off 1:1 coaching sessions for over-65s, those on Job Seeker’s Allowance/ Universal Credit and students. To access this offer please enter CONCESSION at checkout. You will be asked to attach a copy of appropriate ID in your online booking: a driving licence, passport or Freedom Pass for over 65s, proof of being in receipt of Job Seeker’s Allowance and a student card for students.

Disclaimer and Waiver

This disclaimer outlined below defines the relationship between you and your chosen coach, and underpins any coaching services delivered by INTERACT-HQ (“INTERACT”, “our”, “we”, “us”). 

All coaching services delivered by INTERACT are intended to help you identify the areas in your technique, skill, behaviour and mindset that may be getting in the way of your performance, or securing the types of roles you are aspiring to.

Upon signing up to any of our coaching offerings, you agree that:

  • I understand that the coaching services I will be receiving from my coach are not offered as a substitute for professional mental-health or medical care, and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental-health or medical conditions. 

  • I understand that my coach is not acting as a mental-health counsellor or a medical professional. 

  • I understand that in the event my coach believes it necessary for me to receive professional counselling or therapy, it is my responsibility to seek a licensed professional who can provide these services.

  • I understand that coaching is, at present, an unregulated industry and that my coach is not licensed by any internationally recognised regulator. 

  • For legal purposes, I also understand that the services provided by my coach will be considered to be provided from any remote location worldwide, or otherwise in the United Kingdom.

  • I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my well-being during my coaching sessions, and my choices and decisions thereafter.

  • I understand that all comments, recommendations and ideas offered by my coach are solely for the purpose of aiding me in achieving the defined goals I create with my coach. I have the ability to give my informed consent, and hereby give my consent to my coach to assist me in achieving such goals and understand that results are not guaranteed.

  • I understand that I am responsible for creating my own results. 

  • I understand that to the extent our work together involves career, my coach is not promising outcomes included but not limited to securing roles, auditions or agency, introduction to network or agency, or securing work with the coach in a professional capacity and future success.

  • I understand that my coach will protect my information as confidential unless I state otherwise in writing. If I report child or elder abuse/neglect or threaten to harm myself or someone else, I understand that necessary actions will be taken and my confidentiality agreement limited in this capacity. Furthermore, if my coach is ordered by a court to provide information or to testify, they will do so to the extent the law requires.

  • I understand that the use of technology is not always secure and I accept the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, Zoom, text, phone and other technology.

If you are unable or unwilling to comply with these terms, then please do not book coaching with us.
